KMS releases software updates each year. The updated software is sent to each customer via CD-ROM. After the CDs setup program is executed, the applications are updated, and any database modifications will occur with very little user intervention.
For users of OutcomesExpert Enterprise, the facility computers are automatically updated via the polling process (the nightly process of transferring data to and from facilities via modem). The software updates are transferred to each facility, where the OutcomesExpert Rehab Manager software will automatically upgrade itself before therapists show up for work the next morning.

If you are a user of OutcomesExpert Enterprise, KMS will send a training consultant to your corporate office to perform installation and training services over a period of two days. On the first day, the trainer will install the OutcomesExpert Central Manager software, install the local area network (if necessary), install the client-server database management system, configure the Windows dial-up network, test the data communications, and load the initial data into the Central Manager software. The KMS trainer will train your Central Manager administrator, who will be responsible for the use of the Central Manager applications and the preparation of facility computers. Usually, some billing people will become involved and learn about how billing arrangements are managed with OutcomesExpert.
On the second day, the training consultant will train the personnel who will be directly training the therapists at the facilities (i.e. train the trainer). Your clinical managers will learn how to use the Rehab Manager software and interpret the clinical and operations reports. Our customers have always been pleased with the training process.
