KMS Systems was founded in 1995 by Roger Stollenwerk, who has been in the business of
creating information management solutions for over thirty years. Roger had previously
served as Vice President of Information Services for a very fast growing Rehab Provider
company. He was responsible for the design, development, and deployment of the
company’s rehab management software, which had a profound impact on the
company’s success.
In 1995, Roger created KMS Systems with the goal of becoming the premier provider of software solutions for the subacute and long-term care rehabilitation industry. In order to fulfill this goal, KMS Systems hired an extremely talented group of software engineers who were committed to using the latest tools to develop scalable, state-of-the-art Windows applications. Within one and a half years, KMS created the first fully integrated Windows-based rehab management and outcomes system, and licensed it to three of the top five rehab providers in the industry. Today, KMS still provides the only fully-integrated Windows products available in the industry.
